In Memory of Latte / Being Stubborn

Praying Mantis in hiding

It’s the 2nd of January and Latte, my guinea pig passed away on this day in 2003 after a prolonged illness that was probably caused by her getting water in her nose while I was giving her a bath. =’( A few days before she passed, I knew her time was running out. Her ears were cold, and she was lethargic. I was on my way back to campus when she breathed her last. Dad buried her in an unlikely spot. Right in front of the flowerbed and there’s no way you can NOT walk on her grave. Latte was such a character. Here Comes The Rain Again

Published by sharlinin under Memories Edit This

Raindrops on Thorns

Whenever it rains in December (it’s the rainy season now), I can’t help but reminisce my primary school days. I looked forward to rainy days then, because:

  1. It was cool, and gloomy - the classroom lights would be turned on.
  2. I could wear my cardigan and hide the top part of my boring navy school uniform.
  3. No Physical Education classes!
