Moth

Tesdec has a healthy population of insects. Plenty of moths, especially the big ones. The fuzzy green moth above was found one morning on the wall adjacent to the door. I took way too many shots of it, mostly under bad lighting. I’ll have to delete them all later.

I love how fuzzy the body is. I had to force myself to keep my hands on the camera and nowhere near the critter. It just goes to show how much I miss having a dog/guinea pig. I want something soft and cuddly and alive! Something I can teach that won’t cry. =)

Of Caterpillars and Butterflies

The Beautiful Butterfly

I have been preoccupied with the lime bush that’s located at the side of the house for the past few weeks. Why? Well, I’ve only just noticed the caterpillars happily munching on the lime leaves. These caterpillars were in various stages of development too, from the minuscule orange speck, to the bright green caterpillar that was ready to pupate. I was fascinated! Braving the mosquitoes that were always ready to attack my arms and legs, I’d peer at every leaf and stem. Sometimes, I would take photos of them.
