Cheque Received
The postman brought my cheque (which was payment for my a55ignment I blogged about the other day) this afternoon. Not bad for less than an hour’s worth of ‘work’ (inclusive of the 30 minutes of waiting). Now I have two cheques to bank into my bank account. Which I will have to withdraw if I go to KL in two weeks’ time. It’s a pittance, really. But money is money, no matter how much (or little, in my case) I have.
After mentioning that e-luv e-book, the author (Dave Roberts) leaves me a comment! That kind of freaked me out. I tried googling to see where the link to my post was, and I COULDN’T find it! Mr Roberts either has the patience of a saint to peruse each and every result on Google, or The Friday Project has stats on who downloaded the .pdf file. On second thought, if the latter were true, they wouldn’t have known about this blog, just that the downloader was from Malaysia. Hmmm…
Took lots of photos in the garden today. During one trip to the Anona plants, I looked down at my leg and saw three blood-filled mosquitoes. I quickly dispatched them with one hard smack from my palm, and that left me with three red splotches of O+ blood just below my knee.
It had rained earlier, and before lunch, I had noticed the raindrops hanging on the ends of leaves and branches while looking out of the kitchen window. After quickly washing my plate, I went into my room and took my trusty camera out. I took shots of the fluffy white clouds, the standard flower shots, and one photo of a butterfly that was just spectacular! Couldn’t have taken a better photo with a better background, because 3 seconds later the Striped Albatross butterfly (female) took flight.
That’s it from me for now. I hope I get to chat with my special friend in Fargo later.
