The postman brought my cheque (which was payment for my a55ignment I blogged about the other day) this afternoon. Not bad for less than an hour’s worth of ‘work’ (inclusive of the 30 minutes of waiting). Now I have two cheques to bank into my bank account. Which I will have to withdraw if I go to KL in two weeks’ time. It’s a pittance, really. But money is money, no matter how much (or little, in my case) I have.

Your Vocabulary Score: A

Congratulations on your multifarious vocabulary! You must be quite an erudite person.

How’s Your Vocabulary?
Ahem, I still haven’t lost my touch. Thank goodness it was multiple choice and not subjective! Hehehe. I really should start reading again, but I’m too hooked to the internet to turn pages. Oh dear…perhaps that’s not wise to divulge. Here’s another quiz to do.

I just had an SMS from a friend (and coincidentally, my mother had asked me about him today - long life!) asking me if I knew anyone who would be interested in becoming an entertainment journalist for a local newspaper. I told my parents and they immediately said I should go for it. Eh? Entertainment journalists write for a reason. If you have read this blog, you will see that the only reason I am writing is to beta-test this blog site (and hopefully earn some money).

Disclaimer: These are just my thoughts, brought about after reading an e-book entitled “e-Luv: An Internet Romance”. You may download the full text in .pdf thanks to Creative Commons for free. Or you may buy the book. Details here: The Friday project. It’s hilarious, but I’m not too sure about the ending. Anyway, before you proceed reading below, do bear in mind that I’m talking in general and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely intentional coincidental.

What a non-event the interview was. I woke up at 6:58am after hitting the hay at 1:30am. Prepared a breakfast of toast, slice of Kraft Singles cheese and honey. I drank water because I didn’t want to drink anything with milk in it.
Left Mum at Church and Dad drove me to the place. It was 8:30am. The registration was scheduled to take place between 9am and 9.45am. Dad parked the car around the corner (in front of Public Bank) and when I saw how early it was, I insisted on waiting in front of AmBank. I wasn’t going to stand in front of the entrance to C0smopoint. So we read the bank brochures placed behind the glass wall, and peeped into the premises. We started evaluating the cleanliness and table clutter, just like my5tery 5hoppers.

Let’s see. I didn’t go out of the house today. I didn’t go out into the garden and I didn’t take any photos of ladybirds, mushrooms and caterpillars (none on the lime plant). The hours just seem to zip by, it’s no fun. Then again, I was spending time at CY on Flickr. That tends to suck all my time away.

My mistake. Today.com has changed the GUI of the blog editor and it’s not due to my using Opera. *grin* I’m liking it. They even have an autosave function. Yaay! to that. Like the shot above? I took so many that day and had to crop one salvageable photo to get that. The rest are just blah.
So yesterday was the kenduri kahwin (wedding feast) of my neighbour’s son. We walked over to the house and because the father is the State Mufti, the eating sections were divided into two: male and female. It didn’t hit me at first and I followed my Dad like Lassie. I turned back to see my Mum indicate to me to follow her. I inwardly did a “D’oh!” and walked away to the women’s section.

I am using Opera right now and that ‘add image’ link works just fine. HTML editing has a tab of its own and I can easily toggle between tabs. Anyways, about my assignment yesterday.

Pffft, silly me. Why fret about that ‘add image’ error when I know HTML? D’oh!
It suddenly dawned on me, like a light bulb going off over my head.
I was supposed to go to a bank today for an assignment. But I didn’t like the fact that I had about 20 minutes to do my assignment. If there’s one thing I don’t like, it’s rushing! I don’t mind going somewhere early and waiting around.
Anyways, I’ll be going to the bank tomorrow. Those employees better be ready! Any chatter about personal lives within earshot will be noted down and reported. Muahahaha…
Dad scared Mum again today. Really, my mother should know by now that the moment after a shower is the riskiest time of day. This time, he didn’t hide or shout or raise his arms. He just popped his head through the bathroom door from the side, and I heard a scream.
Mum should get a job as a professional screamer for horror movies. It’s loud and has all that fear contained in it.
I sound just as bad as my father! XD
